Project Goal
For 2025, our goal is to provide 1,000 children with special needs and disabilities the opportunity to experience the excitement and adventure of Kids Fishing Day. This event is more than just a day by the water—it’s a chance for kids to build confidence, create lasting memories, and connect with the outdoors in a fun and meaningful way.

Become a mentor or guide to support our young hunters in the field. No hunting experience required—just a passion for helping kids enjoy the outdoors.
Cost of Making a Kids Fishing Day Possible
While Kids Free Fishing Day is free for the children who participate, it takes resources to create a safe, fun, and memorable experience. The average cost per child is around $50, which helps cover:
- Fishing Gear & Supplies: Rods, reels, bait, tackle, and adaptive equipment for kids with special needs.
- Lunch & Refreshments: Providing a nutritious, kid-friendly lunch and drinks to keep everyone energized throughout the day.
- Transportation & Logistics: Helping kids and volunteers get to and from the event safely.
- Volunteer Support: Providing necessary materials and resources for our dedicated volunteers who guide and assist the kids.
Your donation helps cover these costs, opening the outdoors to kids who might otherwise never have the chance to experience the joy of fishing.
